Brag
Brag is a Universal app for Apple platforms, coming soon.
Privacy Policy
This policy applies to all information collected within the Brag app.
Within this policy, “Brag” or “this app” refers to the instance of the Brag application on your device, and “the developer”, “we”, or “us” refers to the developer(s) of Brag.
Data You Enter
When you enter data into this app, such as adding or modifying an Achievement, it is stored in a file on your device. If you are signed into iCloud, your content is also transmitted to and stored in Apple’s iCloud service so that it can be synchronized with Brag on your other Apple devices.
The content you enter into Brag is not transmitted to the developer or to RevenueCat. Information stored in iCloud is handled in accordance with Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Purchases and Subscriptions
Brag uses RevenueCat, a third-party subscription management service, to offer and manage Brag! Pro subscriptions.
RevenueCat may process:
A randomly generated, anonymous App User ID;
Purchase and subscription information, including products purchased, transaction and subscription status, purchase dates, and Apple receipt information;
Limited technical information, such as device type, operating system, app version, and the last time the app communicated with RevenueCat.
This information is used to validate purchases, prevent fraud, determine whether Brag! Pro features should be available, restore purchases, provide customer support, and produce aggregated purchase and subscription analytics.
Brag does not provide RevenueCat with your name, email address, contact details, Brag content, or payment-card information. Payments are processed by Apple. The anonymous RevenueCat identifier is not linked by us to an account or other information that directly identifies you.
RevenueCat processes this information on our behalf and may store it in the United States. For further information, see RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy.
Brag does not use RevenueCat data for advertising or tracking you across apps or websites, and we do not sell this information.
Data Retention and Deletion
Content entered into Brag remains on your device and, where iCloud synchronization is enabled, in iCloud until you delete it. Deletions may be synchronized through iCloud to your other devices, subject to Apple’s retention and backup practices.
RevenueCat retains purchase and subscription records as needed to provide subscription functionality and meet applicable legal obligations.
You may contact us to request deletion of the customer record held for Brag by RevenueCat. Please include the RevenueCat User ID shown in Brag’s subscription settings so that we can locate the correct anonymous record.
Deleting a RevenueCat customer record does not cancel an App Store subscription. If you continue using Brag or restore an active purchase, RevenueCat may recreate the anonymous customer record. App Store subscriptions must be managed separately through your Apple account.
Third-Party Services
Brag uses the following service providers:
Apple, for iCloud storage, synchronization, and App Store payments;
RevenueCat, for purchase validation, subscription management, entitlements, customer support, and subscription analytics.
These providers process information subject to their respective privacy and security obligations.
Contacting Us
If you have questions about this policy or would like to request deletion of information held through RevenueCat, please use the Contact form.
